When Cab returns and meets the people of his youth, the memories come flooding back. He tells Bailey that he is going to go to return to Stargazey Point to attend the funeral even though he is supposed to be at a fundraiser the day of the funeral. When it unexpectedly slips that his uncle has died and his fiancé has "taken care of things" by sending an enormous floral arrangement without telling him, Cab goes into a tailspin.
Now an architect on the rise, Cab is engaged to a beautiful woman and living the high life in Atlanta. He treasured the times that he spent with his uncle and Stargazey felt like home to him whereas his parents' home did not.
After his father remarried Cab Reynolds spent his school year at boarding school and his summer with his Uncle Ned at Stargazey Point, SC.
